Flower333,
If you're staring at the page, you're focusing on the wrong thing. Don't sweat the blip page. Sit somewhere where you can look at an object beyond the book. (I have a coffee table with a candle on it. When I was first learning, I would put my feet up on the coffee table, place the book on my knees, and position myself so that the candle was just above the top of the book. I would look at the candle and notice the pages of the book in my peripheral vision. For a while, I would PR by turning pages while still staring at the candle. I found that I could see both pages completely while doing this. Eventually, I was able to move my eyes down to the center of the book while maintaining my focus beyond the book. At this point, I would notice the white space around the edges of the text. The text begins to appear almost 3D. Most of the time, I see the blip page, but not always. I don't worry about it.) I wait about a second and then flip the page. As you continue with the system, you'll find a pace that is comfortable for you. Don't worry whether or not it is faster or slower than others report. The key is your own comfort level. As I PR, I feel the information in my gut. As I'm doing my closing affirmation, I feel and visualize the information moving "up" to my brain. Many others just seem to feel the information in their brain. I'm sure this is a subjective experience.
For good activation, make sure you find trigger words. Make sure that you develop Probing Questions that interest you. If you just develop very general questions whose answers don't interest you, your activations will be less powerful than they could be. Develop questions around those trigger words. If you can't find interest you have two choices: 1. Dump the book. 2. Pretend you're interested and make up the types of questions you would ask if you WERE interested. Imagine someone you know who would be interested and ask the types of questions you think they would ask. Write the questions down and re-read them before Super Reading and Dipping. You'll be surprised at how quickly you find the answers. Mind map those questions and answers. If you feel drawn to any other "answers," mind map that info too.
Is that OK for a start?
