Forums IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ PhotoReading, Memory Optimizer Dot Stereogram

I've had the home course in my possession since the beginning of January. Never had a problem seeing the blip page but I just couldn't do the stereogram. One week ago I tried it again and I was able to get the 3-d effect. It appeared as if I was looking into a box that had about 15 rectangles of glass lined up behind each other. On each one there appeared to be painted dots that were like stalagmites and stalactites in a cave. Almost everything is covered up before I see the most distant pane. That pane appears to be covered with dots, but all I see of it is two ovals, framed by the panes in front of it.

I've done it a few more times in the last week. It's entertaining to see the depth of the image suddenly emerge. BUT, I am unable to read the word, "photoread." Can someone give me some help. I know I am getting something, but where are these letters?

Perhaps this is all too ineffable. But if someone could make it effable to me I'd be grateful.

The best way is to just play with it. Take a deep breath, relax, and gaze. That one has always been a bit of a challenge for me too.

I haven't recieved my course. I don't know that the dot sterogram is that you're talking about. And yet, I have advice. Some people just have the gift. *LOL*

I'm betting that if you try and focus beyond the picture (dot stereogram) then you'll have the image come together. You can get this to happen quickly if you practice moving your focus to the paper surface to beyond it. This will help you learn the muscle control to meet this new desire (you don't normally need to focus beyond the surface of what you're interested in).

I'll say that the first few times you get the image, try and hold onto it as long as you can.

It's not you so much as the stereogram. This one just isn't that good. I can get it with no problems but I tend to search for stereograms on the net. BTW: some are parallel and some are cross-eyed. That is, they are made differently. This one can be viewed by gluing your eyes to the page and slowly backing away from the image while not shifting your focus. That's a bit of cheating but should work.

I like stereograms and when I came across this I tried it...my usual method is to cross my eyes so that the two black boxes become three black boxes. When I cheat this way, I can read Photo on top, and Reading on the bottom...however, when I just relax my gaze, the picture is too fuzzy to make out much...with a bit more concentration, I can make out the Photo on top, but not the Reading on the bottom...I dunno...
