Hey All--

I have been PRing for a while and have definitely had good experiences with it.

I have a situation that I hope you guys can give me a hand with:

A very good friend of mine from work has a reading disability. We haven't talked specifically about it, but I don't think it is dyslexia. He doesn't understand or retain any information that he reads. He has recently been tested and is reading at a 7th grade level.

He is otherwise a very intelligent person who performs his job very well, so I don't think it is a "learning" disability. Where it does affect him at work is that he is extremely intimidated by books of any kind, and thus is overwhelmed at the prospect of obtaining additional licensing or certification to advance in his job.

I think at this point that PRing would be overwhelming and frustrating for him, but I do believe that some of the PR principles would benefit him.

Has anyone had any experience in applying PR principles to someone with a "reading" disability?
