I just got the book, but I have a question about Photo Reading.

I am wondering if anyone has heard of any increased results when PRing in different fonts or different scripts (read: languages). You see, I remember reading somewhere that the ancient Hebrew Torah (+more?) was written out in a fixed-width font, with no punctuation whatsoever. Imagine trying to PR what is essentially a matrix of letters... Any thoughts?

Tell us more about the hebrew books you are wanting to read, and how much hebrew you know presently.

Also, do you have a hebrew conversion dictionary?

When PR'ing material to the subconscious mind ... keep one thing in mind, it does not question what it is being fed. It's only job is plain and simply to accept what it's receiving.

So, no matter what material you are trying to PR ... be it text or pictures ... to the other than conscious mind, it matter's not.

Dana, I'm afraid that I know no Hebrew! I just remembered somewhere learning the format, and it seemed as if it would be very efficient to PR. Apparantly not though... Still.. I think I will write a little program to convert massive text files into large print fixed width fonts, and write a program to automatically view the next page of information every second. Wouldn't take long, and it sounds interesting. =) Of course, I still need to learn to soft focus on a computer.. but...

I would imagine it would be a challenge to activate a language you have never used. The PhotoReading step is the easy part, washing it all over into your other-than-conscious mind. Then, to trigger it out, consciously, you have to get active with it.

PhotoReading a Hebrew conversion dictionary as you go through a formal language program would bring you ideal results.

So, in the meantime, continue PhotoReading and activating your normal reading materials, so you continue honing your skill. Activation gets easier and easier the more you do it. You'll follow a similar format to creating your purpose statements, closing affirmation statements, mind probing questions, and your style of mind mapping trigger words.

After 9 years of PhotoReading, I can't imagine having to plod through a book reading one word at a time again. Unless it's a novel, I refuse to take the time, when I can spend the time doing other things I enjoy alot more.

I think I was unclear. =) I am not attempting to learn Hebrew. I'm just going to play around with the format that they used to be written in, because it seems "easier" to PR.
