Forums IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ PhotoReading, Memory Optimizer holding the "blip" page

I have another question. I seem to be able to see the "blip" page for a very long period if I continue to look over the top of the book, say to the carpet......but, once I move to the center of the book, I lose it. Is it okay to keep the gaze over the top of the book as long as you can still see the bottom edges of the book? Also, the words on the pages are very small, will that affect the photoreading. When I hold the book on my lap, it is hard to actually read it normally due to the print size. Any help is appreciated. I would love to get this technique down, but am sure it is going to take lots of practice. Right now, I am just trying to master the actual "Photoreading" technique and still have the other aspects to go.

Have access to any 3D pictures? Anyone know of any web sights that has 3D pictures?

This is a good way to practice this skill. This is one of the basic skills that you will need to develop for this process. Treat it as just that.

I have a book I use with allot of these. What I do to practice is go through each one and focus until its crystal clear. I then wave my hand infront of the page and relax, trying to hold the focus. Fear not, this is a developed skill and something that will take a bit of time to get and hold.

Note: beleif of success is the key to success.

You are right. Although I am vey new to PhotoReading, it was very easy to get into the PhotoFocus state from the very first try. I did not need to look at the top of the page in order to see the "plip" page.
To me this came very naturally while focusing on the center of the book. However my sucess was due in big part because several years ago I looked at a lot of 3D Pictures. (like the ones you pointed out to) Some of these 3D Pictures have two "guiding dots" at the bottom to help you get the right "focus". Howeve as you get better at it, it will not be necessary... and you will see the picture immediately.
All you have to do to see the "blip" page is apply the same technique while PhotoReading.

I read the PhotoReading book 2-3 days ago and one of my difficulties was to see the "blip" page. I tried what you described holding the book while I focus on the wall but it didn't work. So I tried to use the other technique described in the book: noticing the white spaces of the open book and seeing the cross on the page. That's how I first managed to PhotoFocus (amazing experience!). After this first experience I continued using the same technique until last night while practicing I just saw the "blip" page!
I am sure it will just come!
