Here is a copy of an e-mail recently sent to me, and my response to it:

Hi NiJulchi

Since you have read the PhotoReading Book, Finished the Home Course, and Taken the Seminar... what accomplishments do you personally have experience from the PRWMS through each of the stages. What I mean is.. when you read the book: what were you able to accomplish; when you purchased the Course: how much did you improve; and when you went to the Seminar: how did that better your whole experience.

I hope you did not mind me e-mailing you. It's just that I am planning to follow your footsteps, and would like to know what your experience was.

There are two main reasons why I eventually got the home study course, and then eventually went to the seminar:
1) I wanted to understand Photo Reading completely.
2) I wanted to motivate myself to Photo Read on a regular basis.

The book alone is enough to get you Photo Reading, and that's what I started out with. For a while I PhotoRead daily, but then, in the beginning, I wasn't going through all the steps. I wanted to be as good as Pete Bissonette from the start, I set my expectations to high. But I had read the PR book once through normally, so that was my activation. I understood it really well, but I wanted more. I knew that I need to do more before and after the PR step, so I got the home study course because I knew it would walk me through every step of the way. The home study course is loaded with excercises and good information.

By this time I was on the discussion forum helping other people with PR because I understood it so well, not to mention it was a great way to activate the PR book since so many mind probing questions are always being asked and answered. But I still wasn't using it as often as I should have been. I needed something to really motivate me to PR daily, so I figured $550 would motivate me(I saved $100 for having the home study course and another $100 for paying more than 60 days in advance).

So I went to the seminar. I was in an environment designed for learning. I was surrounded by other PhotoReaders. The first night I was there, I just could not stop smiling. By the time the weekend was over my whole brain was tingling, and alert, it felt awake. I had a lot more confidence in myself after that. I got to see everything demonstrated for me, and there were also some people there who knew nothing about Photo Reading when they got there who produced some amazing results right there and then.

So now...it's a couple weeks later(I took the course the last weekend of June) and I've been PhotoReading a couple of books from the library. I'm starting to see what they mean about feeling like you just know, or like you've already read it before, and you have a familiarity with the book. I haven't had too much time lately because I've been getting ready for my best friends wedding, which is tomorrow(Saturday).

What I suggest to you is:
-If you've got the book, read through it just like it says, and Photoead it over and over.
-Use the discussion forum as your activation, and as a way to learn and understand more about PR.
-Get coaching. If you need it you can post on the forum, or even call Learning Strategies, they're more than happy to help.
-Have fun.

Sincerely,

Tracy Emis

Hi Tracy,

Thank you so much for answering my question concering this subject. I can't help but be even more excited about PhotoReading... now I am more certain I definitely want to continue following your footsteps. Since I am very confident with the material on the book, and have achieved some result, now I'll get the course, then attend the seminar at a latter point.

Have fun at the wedding.

Alex
