One thing I found with learning PR, There is no voodoo in this process. It consists 1 new concept, and 1 old practice.
New concept: The mind is able to absorb and store information on a sub-thought basis, for life.
Old practice: Reading the bold print, then finding the content. I use to call this cramming for a test.
If you can accept these foundational concepts, PR itself will contain no voodoo for you. When you Preview, you are getting the major points and flow of the book. When you PR, you provide your brain with all the data to fill in the blanks. When you activate(super-read and dip), you review the text in a 1/2 conscious 1/2 sub, providing your brain with a review and making the tie between fore and back mind. (Mind mapping is another way to teach your brain how to make the information organized and findable within your personal Library of Congress)
The better you get at absorbing data and applying it to purpose within yourself, the better organized the information will be within your mind making it relevant and easily recalled on activation. "Aka, gel".
The longer you follow this flow of organizing data for the purposes of willful recall, less the Activation will be required. Storing and recall of information of the brain is a base skill. Base skills are those which are used to develop higher skills. Through Engery and Time, you develop the skills you have focus of. My ultimate goal is to have a balance over my whole mind.
