Hey Gregory,
It looks like you have a good handle on PR. I read your comments to Johnson Brasil about the steps you take in PR and activation. I had a question on what you said about preparing a mind map before(approx 5 min)you get into state then SR and dip and then mind map from memory. What do you mean "prepare a mind map"?

I was wondering if that would generate any quetions ...

I follow Petes recommendations in the home study course which are as follows:
1. In the center of a sheet of paper (as big as you can get) put the name of the book/chapter, author, copyrite date, and any other pertinate information.
2. In the upper left corner, put a one sentance summery of what the book/chapter is about.
3. In the lower left corner of the sheet write as many mind probing quetions as you can think of and want answered (The more the better and more may come to mind as you activate the material)

The mind map sheet is now ready for me to use for all activation sessions of this book/chapter. I don't remember how much time Paul says to take for this step. I find that 5 minutes is a pretty good general rule for me and I try to stick pretty close to it but it is not written in stone (sometime a little longer, sometimes a little shorter). I always have at least 3 questions I want to have answered.

If I run out of space on my mind map sheet, I make a note on the mind map and continue on the back of the original sheet or I get a new sheet depending on the amount of info I need to add.

If I am reading a text, I will end up with a mind map for each chapter. When I finish the text book, I combine all these mind maps into one big, gigantic mind map that integrates all the info for easy viewing and review in the future. This also allows me to add to it in the future if I desire to do so.

One thing I have found is that as I start a book/chapter, my stated goal for reading the material helps me in developing my mind probing questions. Sometimes as I go through the text I find that more questions come to mind. Eventually I get all the information that I really want out of the material. The more questions I can develop, the better I understand the material. This system is soooo cool .

Does this help?
Gregory

That answered my question. Thanks. I think I'm kind of starting to get this.

glad to help...

Another thing to remember, I also say all the recomended positive affirmations that Paul gives in the home study course. The affirmations are said before and after both the PR and SR/dip sessions. The affirmations are too long for me to type out here but I think they are in the book.

Glad to help as always,
Greg

Thanks again. The affirmations are in the book and study course. I appreciate the help.
