Pete or Paul,
Photoreading is the only way to read in the information age. PR should be required in schools. Is it possible for a group of future teachers to start their own school system with paraliminals and photoreading technologies (i.e. teach 1 yr in 6mo.) and still get accredited. Just wondering.

As a matter of fact, when I was meeting with the Minneapolis Public Schools superintendent a couple of years ago he encouraged us to start a "charter" school.

Charter schools are one such way.

I am happy to read about this charter school. There is so much that needs to be taught in schools today that is not being covered. One is economics and personal finance. This is my pet pieve that it is not taught. I believe if we had more people who had knowledge on how to manage their money and the cause and effect of supply and demand. Do not get me started on politics where big government programs are implemented . I KNOW that if everyone understood economics and finance even at the basic level that it would have a dramatic change on public policy. I better get off here before I make everyone angry ( We all know about Gaysexwithdogs :rolleyes
Anyway, I am glad to know that Minnesota has an open-minded person in the education department. With $125 Billion spent on education in the US, someone should have an open mind

Anyone can have a Charter school. They are financed by the government.

LS does not have a Charter school.
