The statement that the brain can make perfect sense of very blurry images the eyes send to it doesn't seem to make sense. What I mean by "blurry" is poor optical resolution of the image. I realize that there may be something that I don't know about our visual system. I would really love for someone to explain to me how this is possible. I just need to be sure that I understand Paul correctly on this subject: it does not matter at all if the images being sent to the brain are so blurry that the image consists of blots of color that flows into each other or if the images are sharp.

When I go into photofocus I use a soft gaze, and if I am not careful then Words just start popping into my head off the page without me focusing on them, so even though they are slightly blurred, my mind still recongnizes them, and I really wouldn't call it blur, I would call if focus of attention, if I focus my attention on a blurred spot, I can easily pick out a word no problem, but if I let loose and relax and get more in the flow, then it isn't as much of a problem.

i don't know if you guys notice, but when your eyeballs become parallel to see the 'blip', each eye(individually) can see the words just fine (maybe slightly blurry). they're just not aligned to the same point, that's all. so technically, each eye can make out words of their own.
