Hi Margaret:
That's an easy answer. You have a skip forward/backwards button(s) on the cd player. You also have a next/previous track(s) buttons also.

Symbols for those buttons are: > (next track forward) < (previous track) >> (skip forward through current track playing) << (skip backwards through current track playing). Margaret, both of your cd players should have these buttons.

Oh by the way Margaret, Just to let you know, I always enjoy your posts here on the forum. They are very informative and I also read all your posts on Centerpointe. I too use the holosync cd's. I'm still using the Awakening Prologue. It's kinda like a slow forever with me. One day my meditation is fine, the next day, total chaos so I wind up laying off of them for weeks at a time before going back and trying again. I manage to do tradition meditation instead (TM). Just to let you know, I'm one of your biggest fans

If your CD player doesn't have both the [next track] and [skip forward] buttons then usually you have to push and hold another botton and then hit the [next track] button to do the skip forward. My portable CD player was like that and I found out on accident how to do it. Alot of times I have to stop and come back later and continue so that's why I like tapes.

Allenhm: Well, thanks I like this DF considerably b/c of the real concern for education, knowledge and just plain growth. 95% of the people using this forum are really trying to better themselves. I like that a lot. It's inspiring to me. The young students hollering for all kinds of advice and w/ lots of questions is  As for my popularity on the CRI DF, well, that's another matter. There i'm journaling more than anything else. Trying to figure out more about me! Definitely go as slow as is best for you w/ holosync. It has truly helped me w/ my traditional meditation for sure. Hey guys! I was wondering about this tape to CD burning. I have a CD burner that I installed on my computer, and I used a portable tape player to listen to the tapes for the personal learning course. I cant stand it cuz it isnt stereo and i cant even rewind without a lot of trouble because u have to take the tape out, flip sides, then fast forward in order to rewind on the other side. NO rewind button, crazy huh? Anyway, I sure would like to know how to burn it from a portable cassete player. Photodavinci, didnt u say u could copy it to your hard drive? That would be sweet. Thanks a lot!

When i started this topic i did not know what a hot topic it would be. You all have given me some great ideas and i thank you. I don't have a CD burner. Any ideas on the best thing to get and where to get it?

If you buy a burner, get it thru www.pricewatch.com for a great deal. Everybody should check out this site. Want 256MB of ram for $25?? =)

what about PhotoReading Multimedia... one that actually teaches you to photoread like, 'mavis beacon teaches typing'or those math or spelling interactive CD's? Well why not one for PhotoReading.. it's not exactly an encyclopeadia on photo reading so you should be able to fit all 9? 12? audio tapes and a lot extra added onto a single CD. Hope this will definitely come about!
