I still have problems with super reading and dipping. I hate skittering because I only get a comprehension of the first and last sentences of each paragraph (and sometimes not even them due to lack of information from previous paragraphs). When skittering I usually after a while end up kinda blurring my eyes down each paragraph getting nothing from it. Super reading and dipping doesn't work because I never know where to dip in or where to stop. There are no hunches, so I end up reading everything or nothing.

Try reading just the first line or sentence in each paragraph on a page to see if you want to rapid read the whole paragraph. Go thru a whole book that way as an extra step in addition to doing everything else. Use the techniques where you only focus or think about the top half of the words you read- this is in the book but not the course. Imagine someone surfing over top of the words as you read them. For some reason for me it's 10 times faster than even speeding my eyes up with my hands (MegaSpeedreading).

If you got an extra interesting book you aren't going to fly thru it anyway.
