Hey everybody,

After I do the photoreading step, as strange as it sounds, I feel as though I can feel the information that I just photoread being absorbed into my subconcious. I feel that this is a positive feeling because I know it's there and that I am retaining it. Plus, it seems to build my confidence in the system. But, the problem is that I can't seem to get it back out. Everytime I activate, I feel like nothing wants to come through my concious mind. Yet, I still have the strange feeling of it being there. I definitely believe that the system works and that I could use the skills more than most people. Especially since I am in college and am currently doing a dual major (computer science/business). It would be a great help if I were able to figure out the solution to my dilemma. I have read every article on the web site and did not find anything that helped.

Remember "INCUBATION." We've all watched movies that we've seen before but this time around we see things we didn't see before. Of course "we saw" them but this time we were in a place to actually be able to notice and use what we saw. There is a reason PR makes you go thru the books multiple times. Each time we read actively and then rest we set the stage to understand more the next time around. Sure beats reading one time thru with total "comprehension." It really beats the other way of reading. Just give it time.

kisa, give it time

I had my biggest "aha" today. I stupidly left reading two novels to this last minute when a reading journal was due (I think the ability to photoread has made me a worse procrastinator, unfortunately, since I feel I can cover it faster...in fact, the journal is due in two hours, and I haven't started yet, and I'm actually writing this instead...hmnn...). One novel (the one I've been yelling about hating A LOT) is taking me forever, but I wasn't too sure why. On the other novel, just to be safe, I photoread it twice before letting it incubate, and afterwards, while I was activating, it was like, "nothing special...lalalla...BOOM" I hit the accelerated learning stage, my peripheral vision opened up and I was SHOOTING passed paragraphs with surprisingly good comprehension. I had to keep stopping to relax because I was actually getting excited. Afterwards, I tried the same approach to the other novel and finished it, too. The novels are about 325 pages together. I started reading at 6:00 this morning, and finished at 8:00. That's 325 pages in two hours. Shocking. What also should be said is I haven't gone to bed since Saturday (today is Thursday) so that probably affected my failure to activate it previously. Anyhoo, it's getting later, and I should really start that journal...but first let me check out my homepage and see if people visited.

PS: My website is at http://www.razor.ramon.com (I wouldn't recommend it if you're easily offended or young due to language reasons).
PPS: ....still not working on the journal....

Andy,

Yeah, that's me at the bottom of the steps...I of course never really threw myself down there, but *shhh* don't tell anyone.

Thanks for the comment...I wish I could add more material, but aparently my internet provider hates me, so I have to check mail and this site on school computers, so I can't really work on it until they get me up and running...but I will of course put some new material on there constantly. =)

Thanks,
Ramon

Hey Razordu30,

I'm learning the system and I need to know a thing or 6 from fellow students. Just for a boost, ya know...

How long have you been practicing the system? How many books did PR before having your 1st success? What kind of material did you activate successfully?

Thanks pal.

Sorry this has taken so long...my internet has been down FOREVER.

I've only been practicing the system for about a month now. I got an "AHA" on my third book...to be honest, I don't even think I truly Photoread the photoreading book they give you, since so much of the "activation" is reiterated on the tapes. I've only been activating novels, which is (in my opinion, could be wrong) the second hardest thing to activate. I've yet to try it on philosphy books (I have to tonight for a test...this is going to be rough). I had a lot of problems activating a book I thought was completely horrible and not worth any of my time (had to read it for school).

I also had some "aha" at the dictionary game, which blew me away.
