Hi,

Could anyone give me some advice to help me stop procrastinating the pratice of the system?

Here are the things that are stopping me:
- Fear of failure
- The TV is always on at home (wife), so I don't have much "quiet time" to put the system to use
- Some steps seem like work (as opposed to pleasure reading): note-taking of trigger words and mind mapping

I'm sure I'm not the only one in this situation, so I hope there's good chance that some of the more experienced among you might help me resolve these issues.

Thanks for your help.

Hello Ardestat,
I also find myself putting off practicing the PhotoReading system, even though I enjoy the system. I also would like to hear any success stories about beating procrastination. I put off many things, even things that I enjoy, if it involves even a little bit of hassle. I have recently purchased the Get Around To It paraliminal however, and have already been getting incredible results. When I listen to Side B with a task in mind, it gets done right away. I have done this twice so far. I look forward to overcoming procrastination in general, especially concerning PR practice.
Actually, PR does seem to be work in the beginning.

practicing is always the hard part isnt it?

here's wat works (kinda) for me: i have all the steps memorized for the most part, but when i do stuff for school, i just PR it and do my regular studying. so i've pretty much PR'ed so far like 300/400 pages (not that much, tha's only like 2 books or watever) but it's better than nothin. and TODAY!!! (excitedly) i PR'ed an article and did some trigger word stuff/etc (just a little) and tho the article didnt really gel or antyihng, i was sooooo much easier to understand when i read it and it took a lot less time to get through with full comprehension (now i'm talkin about scientific journal article that usually takes me an hour or so to read/2 hours to take notes on/digest/1 hour to really understand). anyway, with PR , i think total time was like 2 hours...if that. woohooo!! )

well, i actually have a question. does it matter if you listen to paralimnal tapes in stereo or in mono (where the voices are just overlaid on one another?)

gl peops
