Giancarlo,
I haven't mastered PRing yet and I'm working on it presently. The recall of the material that I PR is much clearer than if I regular read. When I regular read a book (any book, especially texts) I would get lost in the material (details) and realize that after a half hour of reading I had gone through 5 or 6 pages and I don't have a clue as to what I read. Usually if I was reading a text I would get so frustrated with all the details that I would eventually put the book back on the shelf without ever finishing it. Now I burn through books and get the information that I want in at least 1/3 the time that it used to take me.
No, I do not remember 100% of everything I read, and surprisingly enough, I don't want to remember 100% of the content because I don't need it. 100% recal involves the law of diminishing returns. You know, you have a task that takes you 90 minutes to complete. You spend 30 minutes gettingt 80% finished and the last 20% of that same task takes takes 60 minutes when the 80% was good enough for what you wanted.
100% recall of everything you read is caled photographic memory. If that is what you want DO NOT BUY THE COURSE! That is not what this course does for you and they don't promise that anywhere in their advertising or material. If you want to read at least 2/3 faster and get the comprehension (information) you want, then this course is for you.
As far as the 4.0 grades are concerned, most teachers are only interested in their students parroting back facts and figures. Most do not wish to foster or develop understanding in their students because it takes too much time and effort on their part. There is a world of difference between knowing facts/figures and understanding the principles as I'm sure you know. Schools generally test a persons ability to memorize, not reason or understand. I have a friend who is doing work that most PhD's can't do and he only has a high school degree (he's self taught, it's amazing what one can learn from books alone). I also went to school with a 4.0 student that I wouldn't want as my doctor if I were dying in front of him. It doesn't matter where one obtains an education. What matters is what service can that individual provide that people will pay for, allowing that individual to support himself and his family with the lifestyle they choose.
PRing will allow more choices in life than regular reading because PRing allows one to synthesize vast amounts of information at a very rapid pace while extracting the information you WANT and excluding the information that doesn't serve your purpose at that moment in time.
I hope this helped you better understand what the PRing system is about.
Sincerely,
Gregory
