i feel ya buddy. i went thru that whole mcat too..i think the trick (well, knowing material is a must) is to learn how to reason through their questions..the prob is the questions asked are tricky cause they want you to consider two/three factors in answering it. the good part about it is, if you have a *really* clear thinking day, you can reason 90% of teh stuff out of the passages. to practice for that, helps with verbal too, try doing some LSAT passages, since they are much harder than MCAT and they're all about the same TYPE of reasoning that the MCAT wants. i think that's the trick..when i was studyin for it, i took a BUNCH of practice tests just to get to know the way they ask the question, and the way they want you to answer it. anyway, good luck bud, hope everything works out for you (p.s. i'm doin my masters now to try to get in ...my bad was my gpa) hehe

sorry..i meant to say in my last post, you have to reason THEIR type of reasoning...which i just think takes practicepracticepracticepractice

That is a perfect attitude.

And later on when presenting to attendings who have all kinds of crazy agenda w/ certification tests staring you in the face---keep the same thing in mind.

I think you have to remember that a little stress can be a good thing. Old studies have demonstrated that when stress is actually taken from students during testing situations they do worse. You may have been too relaxed. I found that doing the MCAT questions first and then reading the material makes more sense. You have to start thinking like the examiner. Get into their heads.
