I've been PRing since Jul 2001 and I kept losing my concentration while PR. Sometimes I feel very sleepy during PR.
One thing I need full elaboration about :
1)Affirmation
2)Closing
3)Mind Probing

In NLP they say that your mind is an amazing computer that will answer any question you ask of it, you just have to know how and what to ask.

Opening and closing affirmations are pretty easy to understand. Just use the ones that are in the book and if you want, make up unique ones that get you interested in what you might read. Obviously no one can tell you how to do this.

Read page 57 of the 3rd edition book about "Probe your Mind." I think it's the most important step in the system and if you don't do it exactly the way that page says to do it, I don't think PR will even work at all for you.

The book says that the more curious you are about what you want and the more you desire the information you want, the better. So if you HAVE to get a report done, there's your desire right there, the desire to get it done. If you're curious about a topic anyway then the info will come to you easily. If you're reading without the sense of curiosity or desire but just out of boredom, your results will be probably not that great, or at least that's been my experience.

If you run thru the PR steps without really awakening your mind then you're results are going to suck.

I wouldn't worry about falling asleep. Heck, that's half the reason I PR late at night.

Thanks Andy030,
after reread page 57 again and again finaly it make sense to me that the topic in page 57 is one of the main(important) part of PRing. Forming questions of the material we've read can stimulate our brain to find the answers and not necessarily we can get the answrs at that very moment but our brain will continuely finding the answer even when we did not think about the questions anymore until.....the AHA !!! will pop up from our mind.
Since my only source available is the PR book and this forum, do you think I can do it?

Heck yeah. The course just takes you by the hand and makes you do the steps one by one. You can still screw it all up using the course by skipping steps OR you can do all the steps right from the book and get great results. I think we've heard from both types of learners on this board, namely ME. I skipped mind probes in the beginning and once I started using them (because of the tapes) I was like, "Oh, duh." The book talks about the 4 levels of learning; unconscious incompetence, conscious incompetence, conscious competence and then unconscious competence. Making the mind probes is on the level of conscious competence because we are actively going and getting something but eventually it will become second nature and what we want will come to us quicker and quicker the more neuroconnections we create. That's probably why Pete could PR on the spot and we can't (yet). That dude's just done it 10,000+ times.
