I don't know if this has ever been posted in this forum, but here's a fun test. Pick a word from a Search-a-Word puzzle. Diverge your eyes on the puzzle and when you get a feeling that you know where the word is, put your finger there. I did that online (at eyetricks.com they have a puzzle), and was right 9 of 10 times. The 10th one was on the opposite side of the page. This shows me (a prior unbeliever that your brain can synthesize information if your eyes can't read it) that it is possible, and that the photoreading step actually accomplishes something. The fact that I could find words that were backwards and horizontal on the page shows me that the brain not only can recall information that the eyes cannot see, but it can actually analyze it and make it useful and immediately available.

Thanks for the idea. Hey, if that works better than the dict game, they should put that in the course and send you a commission check. That is a really good idea.

I tried it and it didnt work you did it in photofocus on the monitor how long id you look before you found it thanks

Actually, it varied. For some, it was just a matter of a couple of seconds. For others, it probably took about 20 seconds. Whenever I felt that I knew where a word was, I stuck my finger there and 9 of 10 times it was there. Subsequent attempts have yielded similar results. The last time, on a few stubborn words, I just picked out three contiguous letters in the word, told my mind that I wanted to find these three letters together, and my finger ended up on combinations of those letters.
