How long should it take me to photoflip through a 200 page book?

As fast as the pages leave your fingers.

Photoflipping is a method whereby you fan the pages during your photofocus session.

Go at a pace which is comfortable for you.

I'm still not really sure if I'm photoflipping correctly because I can "photoflip" through a 200 page book from 2-3 seconds. I doubt that my subconscious mind is picking up all these materials from the book.

Once you have the basics of PhotoReading down pat, you can Photoflip as fast as you want.

Remember to use closing affirmations when you close the book though. Very important. Choose "mastery." If you choose "doubt," your inner mind will perform accordingly.

is photoflipping just another word for turning a page during photofocus?

Yup. Pretty much. Just like Stereoreading.

You need to have the basics of PhotoReading in place first.

The affirmation are the same as for photoreading. They are listed in the section of the book Close the process with a sense of mastery page 51 of the 3rd Edition of Photoreading.

Photoflipping - hold the book in one hand and flip the pages... this is really fast. However as Dana has said...you have the basics of PhotoReading down pat

As a photoflipper, I just wanted to make a couple notes:

1) On some books, you won't be able to see the part of the text near the spine of the book too well. Adjust photoreading stage accordingly.
2) Yes, it's fast, but go at a comfortable speed - probably around 5 seconds through a 300 page book.
3) Since it goes by so quick, I usually make several flips: once or twice normally, a couple times with the book upside down, and a couple times from the back to the front.
4) If you haven't been able to successfully activate books consistently, don't do it yet.
5) Or, do what I did when I started out (and still sometimes do) is do a plain 'ol photoreading session, then photoflip it several times just for good measure. I love this, because sometimes if you pull a couple pages at the same time when you photoread, you get a little nervous and say to yourself, "I just missed all that info". If you tell yourself ahead of time you're going to photoflip the book several times afterwards anyway, you relax whenever this happens, because you'll most likely get it the next time around.
