1. read through center of page from top to bottom, consciously notice words that seem to carry meaning
2. Read one line across at a glance
3. read for ideas, thoguth, follow your hunches
4. notice the feeling and the urge to dip in
5. dippin is reading with light fluid movement
6. the step should take 4 to 8 minutes
7. multiple passes, 15-30 sec time limite for each page
8. don't worry about missing anything important

Hope this can help you in some way

Truth is, activation takes longer or shorter, depending on who you are. For those techniques, 4 to 8 minutes sounds. . .about right. I've spent up to 10-12 before, though.

For the entire activation steps, excluding Rapid Reading, I've spent up to 45 minutes on. With Rapid Reading, I've even gone up to 3.5 hours.

Start by asking yourself questions about the reading material. What information do you want from what you are reading? At each of the 5 stages you need to know what you are looking for.

Have 3 to 5 questions firmly in your mind (write them down in the beginning)... this establishes your purpose and helps your intuitve mind to guide you where to dip when you super read. Getting answers to your questions about the book is a part of the activation process.

After PhotoReading your subconsious mind already knows the answer... you use super reading and dipping to let your subconscious bring it up to your conscious awareness.

Ask questions like what is the author trying to tell me. How can I use this information. Is there any information that I can use in this book that can help me to learn better. How does the book/author explain this? or that?. What do I need to understand.
about.....?

When you superread and dip after asking questions like that you find the answers... other times you discover the answers coming up.

Now this is the important part... Trust that your inner mind will provide the answers... don't think you're cheating just because you dipped and found yourself reading the answers. That is how the inner mind communicates with you... especially in the beginning. Later you'll probably find that you are forming answers to you questions as you ask them... that comes with practice and trusting the process.

Believe you are doing it right and getting better at it all the time.

Alex.
