The Photoreading system takes practice... like sport the more you practice the better you get.

Your friends saying that the PRWMS doesn't work would have a downer affect on you.. you have to work harder to overcome doubts ... not only your own but others as well.

The system does work and while you are learning it it's better not to mention the PRS to your friends who aren't learning it too. Your friends don't want to lose you and you're doing something different, that makes them feel uncomfortable. There a plenty of people still in school having success with the system, they will tell you that it didn't happen overnight. They can probably also give you some advise how they got over their friends being a wet blanket.

The system works and remember some older people struggle with the PRWMS too till they get the hang of it.

Remember the little engine that could?

I think I can... I think I can...I think I can...I think I can...I think I can...

It took a while but it got to the top of the hill.

You have plenty of help on offer to learn the system .. here at the forum and you can even ask LSC for help over the phone... the number is in your manual.

It does work..

BTW if you only comprehend say 25% of the photoreading and Natural Brilliance books congratulate yourself. The ideas presented in those books are a challenge for most people.

I mean words like linguistic, interpersonal, intrapersonal Kinesthetic, implicit and explicit are not everyday words and in my opinion a challenge for for the common folk. When you haven't come across words like that it makes gaining comprehension a bit harder. Afterall you have to figure out what those weird words mean and then understand the story.

So don't be too hard on yourself if you don't seem to activate those books too well at first because it does get better with practice (you get to know what those words mean and it flows a bit better).

Hang in there

Alex
