I know Dane has had a court date or two for not honouring his money back guarantee on something he called learning machines, many of which were faulty and did not work.

I think Dane, along with many other people in the self help field, could perhaps best be summed up as being a bit of a con man.

This is an ugly business.

pfff not honoring his money-back guarnatee doesn't say anything about the effectiveness of his programs

well, I'm gonna give his "Ultra Meditation" -program a try ... I'm always looking for new relaxing tapes ... those transcendental mind and healing music-cds sound promising, also I must admit I took a little shortcut to seeing what his 5-level meditation-system is like, and I must say it's pretty cool. It may not be as effective as the holosync program, but it's not as damn boring. Gonna save for an inner circle membership (all 12 holosync levels) though. I'm also looking forward to doing robert monroe's gateway experience (all 7 waves) .. maybe it'll help me a bit with my OBE-project )

The mention of Dane Spotts (whataname!) got me curious, so I Googled him.

Take a look at http://www.ftc.gov/os/1996/9609/c3686cmp.htm which is a 1996 Federal Trade Commission complaint against him and his company.

What a load of promises he makes--learn four languages overnight, etc.

I guess I'll just rest my case, then.
