When photoreading once is usually enough. But a good book can be enjoyed more than once if you desire
For direct learning remember it is similar to sytompic reading... a number of books on the skills you desire. Previews lightly and photoread. Then leave it after, about 1 month you yourself might notice that you have acquired the skills you desired or someone points it out to you. Thats the beauty of direct learning. You change and don't seem to notice it cause it just sort of happens.
For Direct learning no activation. Not required and not recommended as the conscious mind starts to interfer...(are we there yet? how come I'm not doing that bla bla bla )
The point is not to fill your mind with self doubt and apprehension as to whether of not you did "read" the books often enough (once is enough). It can be counter productive trying to read it more often than we have time for etc. The inner mind is a lot more creative than we give it credit for. Our conscious mind needs to be a little more patient.
Good luck with your Direct Learning project.
