I have been attempting to learn PR for several months with the book and would like a few details about the dictionary game. I am looking for an objective way to test the efficacy of this system before i spend too much time/money on it.

what is a good stated purpose for this?

what are the steps?

I want to buy the system but need a little validation before i invest more of my time and money into this. (I do understand there is a satisfaction guarantee on the product but nobody can return my time)

thank you.

If you want a really worthwhile method of testing the system. Go to a library or bookstore and pick some books. Just pretend that you can photofocus on the pages of the book. Use the soft gaze and imaginary x method as described in the photoreading book (forget about the blip page) and photoread a couple of books. Then let your intuition guide you which one would you like to read most and which one would you like to read least. Take both those books home and decide how accurate you were.

Like the dictionary game this is a game. It doesn't matter if you win or lose. The point is if you can by this method intuitively choose a book you like and one you don't. How much further can you go if you go all the whole way with they system?

If you think you got it wrong, that's ok too, it means that you still need to learn more of the system and since it comes with a moneyback guarentee, why fail it before you really tried it?

If you really need proof that the system works for you, you'll need to do the full course or apply the steps provided in the book as instructed. I honestly can't think of another way.

Your request reminds me of my first swimming lesson. ME: "No way am I going to let you teach me to swim till you prove to me I can learn to swim." They had to teach me to swim cause mum paid for the lessons so they chucked me in the deep end and guess what, I let them teach me to swim and I loved swimming.

With the course you get personal coaching so if you *don't want* it to work for you then save your money and your time.

thanks for your input.

I have already invested $16.95 and several hours into the Photoreading system. I feel that I have a good grasp of all the steps. I am relaxed and alert, I do the tangerine thing. I state my purpose and preview, photoread, wait 20 minutes or overnight and then activate.

What I am looking for is an objective and measurable test to see if the PR:WMS works for me. I do not doubt that it works for Paul Bissonette and some others on this forum but it does not seem to work too well for me.

in summary:

please post the instructions for an objective and measurable way for an individual to test the PRWMS with the information provided by the book.

AHHH I see. Why don't you use the test described in the book page 75 of the 3rd edition has some methods. I liked the one on page 76 "Take the 5 day test" the best. The steps are layed out in the book. Why not do that and then use the regular method to read a different book and compare. Just impose the same 30 minute limitation to see how far get and what you get out of the book in the same time frame. You work with 2 book over 5 days each investing 30 minutes a day per book.

A fair and realatively easy way to decide whether you want to keep using the system or not.

Eh guys, how do you do the tangerine effect?

Maybe that's not the correct way to ask that question, but I'm having trouble getting the technique to work.

When you visual it, can you actually feel it or anything like that at all?

It does not have to ber a tangerine.

try a baseball. see it in your left hand and feel how heavy it is. notice the stitches and the scratches. throw it up and watch it arc over into your right hand. NOW, place it behind and above your head and allow it to stay there. easy, huh?
