I think it's time for me to give up...I've been trying to diverge my field of vision and it just doesn't work. I have no idea how you guys do it but I just can't seem to get it.

Try the other method of Photofocus.

Instead of divergence and seeing the blip page, look at the open pages normally. But, do not hard focus on any individual word or sentence or paragraph. Hold a soft gaze for all the printed text so you see it all as "one chunk." Then, start flipping those pages.

That's how people with vision in only one eye PhotoRead successfully.

Do the rest of the techniques in step three just the same. 3-2-1 Relaxation process. Pre-affirmations. 4-3-2-1 chant. Steady rhythm. Confortable pace. Closing affirmations.

Does this actually work or am I just wasting my time and money?

No, you are not wasting your time and money. Just about 20 minutes ago I super read natural brilliance and when I did out of the blue things would catch my eye that related directly to my purpose I mean on the spot. so that means the system works and eney one who doesn't think it can happen well look at what happened to me, it took me a very long time but I managed to make. So can you.

The way I photo-focus is pretty much like what dana said. I think about looking through the middle of the book and I think about looking at all 4 corners of the book while I focus on the top of my head (tangerine technique).

There's another way. After you open your eyes from the "Prepare" step to enter the accelerated learning state, focus your attention a few inches over the top of the book and stare as if daydreaming while looking at a fireplace. You will see both pages of the book in your peripheral vision. That's all you need for your subconcious to see. Your concious mind will be totally out of the picture because it cannot make out the words because they are out of focus. At this point, internally to yourself go thru the cadence "Relax, Relax, 1,2,3,4, Relax, Relax, keep the state, see the page. Without turning any pages. Once that is done, start turning pages with the cadence.

yes, that's how i got the blip page down--by looking past the top middle of the book & keeping my vision open. Then i slowly got the blip by looking thru the center of the book. Then i'd lose it after turning a page or two.

Then Dana told me to just keep turning and relaxing myself. Eventually it stuck.

But, i began by looking towards the floor just over the top middle of the book. This info is in the book and course.

don't give up...it works

Even to this day, I photoread this way. I prefer looking over the top of the book instead of looking thru the center of the book. I guess it has something to do with not looking at the book directly at all and absorb all of the information contained within.
