Hi I'm new to this forum (first post). I am 14 years old and live in Australia. The only real education I've had with learning this system is from internet sites and articles. I have a firm belief that this system works and am ready to give it a bash. I have had experiences with stuff like the tangerine technique (I didn't think it worked) stuff I've been able to scrap off the web but now I got school holidays I've got alot of... no let me rephrase that: I've got more time than usual, so I think that this is a good time to give it a bash.

PROBLEM

I'm only 14 and have no job (or pocket money) and in Australia the photoreading home study course costs more than $500.

POSSIBLE SOLUTION

I could probably pull together enough for the book, but what I'm getting the impression is that the book is not designed for learning the system but designed for making you want more and go pay for the home study or seminar.

QUESTION

Is it possible to learn the course from the book alone? If yes, SHOULD I is it much more harder?

Are there any photoreading seminars in Australia anyway and how much are they?
(I could find away to convince my dad.)

Thank you for you valuable time.

Not true.

Youngprer and/or Mastermind will soon set you straight. They are about your own age and have learnt from the book with great success.

Here's a list prepared by Youngprer if you want to search the archives for useful info:

Many others will help as well.

Hornet,

When this forum began awhile back, I'd say you are correct in that if you wanted to learn Photoreading that your options were to either take the seminar, buy the CBT or buy the book.

There is now a forth alternative and it's FREE! Yep, that's correct, you can learn PR for FREE!

This FREE site has it ALL. It has all the information on all the steps, you learn at your own pace, you interact with other new PR's ... it's really a GREAT place to go for those strapped for cash.

Here's the website ... http://www.learningstrategies.com/forum/cgi/Ultimate.cgi?action=intro

This is no joke. This forum has matured over the months/years and really, everything you could possibly want ... is here.

There is a saying, learning is reserved for the people who seek. So seek out the knowledge to learn PR in this forum and with your ambition and persistence you will acquire the skill to PR!

There a many like minded people like yourself taking up the challenge to learn PR, you could not have found a better place to start!

Good luck and happy PR'ing!

LLL

Yes you can definately learn from the book. Order it through Dymocks I think it cost Au$48. Using the book along with the forum you can definately learn the system if you are willing to invest some time. The book is handy to have to pull it together in the way the forum alone doesn't do.

There are no instructors in Australia, so there are no seminars either, as yet,.
