I'm new to the discussion forum. I have the PWMS
Now my question is, I'm not used to asking myself questions about what I need to know from a book. Seeing that I've been a "Passive" reading for oh so long. Photoreading seems very "Active" on the reader's part. Most times it's quite hard to formulate questions to myself. How does someone like myself change in order for photoreading to work for me???

The Basic Ordering of Ideas:

why, what, where, who, how, which, when
what things do
how things work
themes, lessons, chapters
first 10 words or images that come to mind
characteristics of things
how good/worthwhile/beneficial things are
definitions- what things mean
how things are related to each other
what roles/characteristics people have

Also look in the course manual under the activation part. There are some great questions there as well.

Find out what interests you and then ask questions about it. I was in the same boat & it took some time for me to change. You're in for a pleasant surprise when you take charge and ask questions. It carries over in all areas of your life. I buy better products now & a whole lot of other things.

I've written a 4 page article on asking questions and on forming questions on material that don't have chapter heading or subheading. Anyone who wants a copy can email.

Another question:
I've notice that when I'm in photofocus, my left eye tends to water. Have anyone ever experienced this??? I have a natural soft gaze and can see the blip page effortlessly. Also, I've noticed that while chanting, it makes me quite nervous and tense, so I don't chant and now I remain relaxed. Are there anyone else on the forum that doesn't chant also but can photoread???? Tell me about you experience without it. Thanks.

3D,
The chanting made me tense as well. I just focus on my breathing & i'm relaxed.

Never had my eye water though. It'll probably just go away after your eyes fully adjust.

Thanks Margaret for the reply. That's basically what I do, focus on my breathing making sure it's slow, smooth and even, and body sensations
