It sounds incredibly odd to me...PhotoReading seems to have completely changed the way I think about everything. After seeing the movie A Beautiful Mind, reading through books like The Einstein Factor, Exploring the World of Lucid Dreams, my mom's college textbook of Basic Psychology, hearing the commotion from Crazy Eddie of Reading Genius, and listening to my tutor babel on and on over things I feel like I've heard years ago, the past few days of sickness and around 16-18 hours of sleep have really turned me around.

Hunches Over Everything
I regularly question nearly every single thing in existence. The more material that I come into contact with relating to information of any kind, having to do with either how things work, what things are, or why things are logical, I seem to be wondering why everything is the way it is. A while ago I had a long talk with one of my brother's friends, who pointed out that nothing can really exist within our minds unless we give it a name in some shape or form of language.

It has occured to me that perhaps I have been over examining nearly everything for the past half a year, but then another part of me says differently. I tried beginning Evolution to Physics, by Einstein earlier today but I suddenly became exhausted and went to sleep. Everywhere I go, I experience deja vu, and information constantly flows at me with questions I still have not been able to answer. Strange dreams keep occuring, but yet I don't remember them. All I know is that they were strange.

Unexplainable Mental Achievements
My words seem to often be mixed up, cluttered, out of place, and do not turn out on paper, or the screen the way I intended them to. A word like fragile is written down and intended with a particular meaning, but then I go back to later find out I wrote down "fertile." I read through the sentances and find that both words would work, and the word fertile would make it more diverse.

I do math problems, writing down the answers almost immediately with some things, other times the simplest concepts can puzzle me for hours. Things that most people immediately understand appear to be incredibly complex to me for the longest time, until finally I say, "How did I NOT understand that??"

Then, what appears to be complex to others, will seem amazingly simple to me. Like I'm an opposite. I will not realize it, but I'll write down some answers to some problems and people will look at it, baffled, and ask, "You did that in your head?!" I'll say, "Yeah, what's the big deal?" They'll then point out how complex it is.

People Look at Me Differently
My friends often think I'm crazy for wondering about some of the things I talk about. One rainy day a little while ago, I noticed that on the street the water flow changed and split directions in the middle of the street, and that somehow all streets just might be constructed with a high point in the middle, which causes the water to drain into the different tunnels. This can explain why even though some can appear to be perfectly level, flooding can be prone to some specific areas.

"That's great, Scott..." one of them said, not quite knowing what to say. "I really could care less."

"I know," I'll tell them. "It was just something I noticed."

Memories Constantly Return
Certain areas and specific subjects of information have been popping into my head. Spontaneous activation occurs in huge chunks a lot of the time, where previously it only occured in small slivers of bits and pieces. Fractions of fractions, but now, it's almost become fractions, you might say.

Memories from my childhood, and moods of how I felt throughout the past year, or two years have been returning, and I've been feeling them, almost reimagining my entire past.

Strange Dreams
Strange dreams keep occuring, where they seem to be trying to tell me something. In fact, many have occured where I've gotten their meaning, and have avoided some bad situations that may occur the following day or week.

Upon my hunt that I have failed so far to aquire the mastery of lucid dreaming - I keep trying to dream about sex, lol , but the more serious issues of my life keep on coming up within the dream images.

Has anyone else experienced the same things I'm currently going through? It's crazy.

This was an awesome post and I noticed nobody had responded and I wanted to put in my thoughts.

I've experienced a lot of similar things in the past couple years. It appears the more I try to expand my world the more questions I have. Not just questions about what I'm learning, but questions about what I've already learned.

The confusion of words is an interesting one as I'm constantly typing and getting out the wrong words but the word is composed of all the same letters.

I see some words and I feel absolutely befuddled by them, an example, there is a street around here named "Mitten Street" and I've stared at that word so many times and just couldn't grok that the word Mitten was actually a word. It makes you feel stupid at times but more often than not it's just disturbing. I don't know why.

Dreams are a particularly interesting subject for me as I have very few memories of my life. I don't remember my dreams and I am astounded when I do remember them for more than an hour or so. My childhood memories are virtually non-existent. I can remember perhaps 20% of the last 12 years. Anything before that .. maybe 2%. I don't know why.

This is all very random and not nearly as organized as your thoughts. Again, I really enjoyed reading your post and I'd like to see if there are others out there who have similar experiences.

Does anybody else drive down the street and see people and wonder what they are thinking? I'm constantly wondering that, do others even think like I do?

I've posted about 5-7 posts like these that I never get any replies from. They're pretty big sleepers. Maybe it's because no one knows what to say.

I wonder what people are thinking all the time, and usually I'm so right it scares me. I've gone and proven my own 'assumptions' before and around 90%-95% of the time it's correct.

This post is kind of old, though. And I've stablized. Most of the time I'm just concentrating on the books I'm PRing and the dreams I'm trying to become lucid in.

youngprer, I can relate to some of what you're said. I remember my last year of college going through similar experiences. In retrospect, I think my brain was expanding so quickly to the large amounts of learning and expanded experiences I was encountering that it sort of left my behind sometimes. I read J-P Sartre's Nausea and he seems to have captured much of what I felt in his main character.

I also rember writing several words over and over and over because they were fascinating and wrong and weird. I couldn't write "of" with out cringing because part of me KNEW is should have been "ove".

Also, never discount the powers of hormones, your brain, changing body needs and sleep needs. If you are an adolescent, you need almost as much sleep as a new born. And, your brain is weeding out the neural pathways it finds unused or redundant - you're opperating on a whole new system in there. And it sounds like you're giving your brain a good challenge in finding redundant neruons.

Good for you in finding ways to stabalize your experiences of the world. I had a baby 2 years ago and found I went through a whole new set of reality altering expeinces not unlike what you're describing, but related to this tiny, wonderful vulnerable being in my care.
