Hello Fellow Photoreaders.

I have been practicing pen spinning with my left hand. I am left handed.

After lots and lots of practice sessions, I was still not able to balance the pen while spinning it around my thumb. This happened everytime when I stared at my hand. However, as soon as I stared away and used my periferal vision, the pen balanced perfectly. I did it over and over, it blew me away.

That was not all, it seems that my other hand does the spinning just as well if not better. That blew me away even more.

sometimes when you try too hard your brain just gets in the way, i did the same thing when learning to juggle(lol yeah, juggle). if i concentrate really hard, i mess up. if i stare at the wall and just do the hand motions, it works perfectly.
my left hand is the one i write with, but i dont think i could spin a pen at all with it. my right hand has the most coordination, but cant do the specific small motions required for writing. this might just be because i used to me ambidextrous, but i think some other people are the same as me.
