My experience with this is yes. I find that my comprehension of text in a second language is greatly improved using the Photoreading steps. It does require some more activation passes for me to understand better. Considering it would take me some 13 hours to regular read a 200 page book and have about 20% comprehension (this would mean I would have to reread the book again anyway to improve my comprehension/understanding of the topic by regular reading).
When I photoread the book I used more activation passes than I would have used on the same text where it in the English language. However my comprehension was at 70% after approximately 3 hours of activation.
Seeing if I had to make 2 passes with regular reading (probably spending 26 hours on the book
) And managed to gain 70% comprehsension with 6 activation passes. To me the Photoreading step simplifies learning in another language.
