Hello, I'm now having another problem.... For example, if I listened to song before pr, then during pr'ing, the song always stay in my mind, and distracts my concentration, this is like I 'hear' the song in 'my mind'. Does anyone face the same problem before ? Please give me some solution to solve this problem.

And, I think I achieved some result in pr'ing, that is I pr the NeuroAnatomy text book for 7 times contineuly, I only stop for few second in the interval to refresh my mind. Then I try activate it on next day... somethings funny was happened, I feel than I know many things from the book, but if I ask my mind what is it actually, the feeling gone. I experienced this kind of feeling through out the day. And I uesed to read it regulary, I found that I'm much more easy to memorized the facts... but, seems its not like 'long term' memory yet, I still forget most of it few hours later. For addition, I only have the feeling of knowing somethings when I pr the same book for many times.

Then the photo focus step... I can see the blur blidpages, but the double line always disappeared when I turn the page, but I can immediatly see the double line again after turning the page, is that ok ?

Realy thank for reading it, wish all of you good luck and all the best. Takecare.

Edgard

Just say the chant as if the song isn't there. If it really bothers you play a nature sound tape while photoreading. Some folks even listen alpha sounds to while photoreading, so play something less distracting while photoreading, if you find it difficult to concentrate on the chant although a few pages of chanting should have you in the flow anyway.

If you are forgetting what you memorised then you are probably not mind mapping the information. Mind mapping creates more neural links that allows you to recall the information better. You only need to start remembering one piece and more of it will come flooding back.

Yes it is since you are getting the feeling that you know many things from the book how can you doubt it?

I usually "listen" to songs in my head while relaxing or even PR'ing sometimes. I discovered I could do this back in 1990. I had just moved to live with my dad, and we were moving into a larger house about 40 minutes away. Dad was driving the U-Haul truck (LOUD truck). I was thinking about a song I liked, and was surprised that after thinking about it for a while, I could "hear" it in my mind. One repetitive "song" that ALWAYS works to relax me is the 5-Note sequence from "Close Encounters of the 3rd Kind". The part where the residents in Dharmsala were chanting the notes. For some reason, that part has always worked to quiet my mind.
I use this sometimes in place of the "re-lax chant. It can usually only "hear" the music/songs in the presence of some sort of backgroud "noise". I hypothesize it has something to do with the "noise" in the background stimulating the auditory portions of the brain, and perhaps these need to be "turned on" for the music to work (for me anyway).
I would think as long as it is music that you could use to stay relaxed and detached, it shouldn't matter.
