Is activation during dreams easier compared to manual? Is it even easier if it's a lucid dream? I think I read that Stephen LaBerge book if that's the book with the MILD and WILD techniques(Long time ago, don't remember too much). If it's not a lucid dream does it sometimes take a little dream interpretation to understand it? Thanks.

Manual activation is significantly easier and more complete than dream activation. The dream activations are more for fun and demonstrate the fact that the information is in your head. As your dreams are often metaphors you will have to do a bit of interpreting for successful dream activation. It definately is a great way of noticing that your inner mind is processing the information that you photoread even if you cannot fully understand the dream just knowing that you inner mind is figuring it out means you can trust that you have taken the information in.
