My question concerns the relationship of PhotoReading and Activation. I have a stack of professional magazines on my desk as well as some professional books. I finished photoreading the magazines and want to wait a day before activation. Is there any problem going to photoread some books on a totally different set of topics for future activation or is it more constructive to stick to one general topic in a day. Note: I am not doing syntopic reading here, just wanting to chug through the backlog. I am a beginner: in fact I am still working on the tapes in the self learning course. PhotoReading may or may not work for me. However, I have lost twenty pounds of guilt by photoreading a stack of unread professional magazines and journals and saying "there, I've read that." That alone is worth the price of the course :-). The most difficult obstacle I've had to overcome is to allow the possibility that PR really is that easy.

Go ahead no problem, I sometimes Pred diferent subjects and then I can activate it with no problem. Think like in a magazine there are a lot of different subjects in there.

I don´t kwon if is the same with you, but when I PRed I have like that hunches that they are small feelings, telling me to dip in there.
And when I don´t PRed I don´t have that, That was the only way that i have to noticed the hunches.

After I PR, I just let my eyes take me where they want to go, or follow an inner voice that says "I want to know about that." This requires and act of trust on my part and a "willing suspension of disbelief." I find a great way to activate material is to talk about it with someone else. However, most people close to me aren't especially interested in a conversation about stuff in the professional journals.
