I read somewhere in the book that it isn't a good thing if you're questioning your own efforts while in the PRing step. I sometimes decide to go back whenever I miss pages or to go back and photo read over again something I felt shaky about. Has anyone had any level of comprehension even after engaging in such self-doubting acts while PRing?

I know what you mean. I had to get into the habit of turning the book over and photoreading it a second time if I felt I missed too many pages. Otherwise I'd be back flipping.

Logically missing a page or 2 won't make any differences to the overall comprehension. When you consider how many pages one can read while the mind is wondering during regular reading.

During activation process while superreading and dipping you notice stuff you missed and are more likely to be drawn to that stuff for a closer read. Remembering that I will most probably will superread and dip each page more than once anyway also helps solves that problem that I may have missed something during the photoreading stage.
