Forums IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ PhotoReading, Memory Optimizer Blip page shows some text - normal?

Hi, I have just started the PR course and trying to get relaxed and used to the several techniques needed to photoread (turning pages, keeping up the rythm etc.).
I do get the blip page, but some times I do see text on it. Is this normal or is one of my eyes "out of parallel" focus? Does it matter?

Another question to someone, who may have started with "age vision" problem. I have received reading glasses just one year ago. Is it OK to forget the them and just read with plain eyes, although there is some focus strain in them?

Seeing text in the blip page is normal. It's works just as well if you just use the imaginary x technique so however the blip page looks is fine. When I use the imaginary X the blip page is very transparent its still there I'm just not paying attention to it.

With glasses it is what works for you. If you like to photoread without glasses enjoy the process . If it stains you too much you are probably not relaxing your eyes so you might want to keep the glasses on. Do what is more comfortable / works best for you.
