Photofocus is seeing the blip page and noticing the all the edges of the book. Being having the whole of the 2 pages in your vision.

That is correct.

You don't want to understand them during the photoreading stage. The bringing it into conscious awareness comes during activation. During photoreading you are putting the information into your inner mind.

Photoreading is like downloading data onto your computer. It's on your computer and means nothing until you look for it.

Activating is like doing a Ctrl f (control/command find) of what you read.

In the beginning the blip page disappears after a bit of practice is stays while you turn the pages. As long as you can see the whole of the 2 pages with your awareness then just keep going. When you lose the blip page keep to the rhythm of the chant and notice the patterns of the white spaces around the letters.

The tangerine technique is for previewing and pulling trigger words as well as activation.

I agree. I suggest you read the book again. So that you know each of the 5 steps in PhotoReading.

Then try the 5 day test as outlined in the book it will encourage you to apply all the steps. The is also a mind map in the book that you can refer to. Why not draw it up for reference.

You'll get eventually keep going, perserverance and working on each bit in the tapes will get you there .
It took me a while and I did'ent even have a forum to look up advice !.
I too was frustrated with all the books I had to read but I found the photoreading with the activation part alone valuable it made my overall reading much faster.
Remember you can keep asking questions. And Good luck.

One who is 'low in patience' is also low in time.

Plan to make time for PR'ing and all that you wish to accomplish in life.
