Hi All,

In the PR course Paul Scheele says that you don't have to look at the centre of the pages to get the Blip. He says if you have trouble seeing it this way, you can gaze slightly over the top of the book to get the blip, and this should still work just as good as long as you can still see all four edges of the book.

Has anyone tried it this way and got success? I can also see it while gazing at the top third of the page. The reason I ask is because I'm a beginning PhotoReader and was wondering whether I even need to put the effort into seeing the blip while looking at the centre of the book.

Thanks,

Tazster

As long as you can see the blip page is some way, shape, or form, then you know you're maintaining a divergent gaze. The only thing that you really need to worry about is whether or not you can read the text while noticing the four corners of the page.

Myself, I do it a number of ways. Any way really works just as well. Just relax, remember the chant, and do it in whatever way is COMFORTABLE for YOU. That's the key. If it feels comfortable, then it's probably what's going to work best for you.

No effort required. All the steps of the photoreading can and ideally ought to be carried out in a relaxed manner.

Blip or no blip. It's only important to be aware of all the material. Don't pay attention to the text. Looking at all the white space around and between ALL the text is better. That way all the text is in your field of awareness but you conscious mind isn't tempted to hard focus and read. Leaving your inner mind to absorb it all.

Good luck,
