Dear All:

I just got my photoreading course today and other than not receiving CD #3, I am really excited about all of this.. I have some basic questions... What the heck am I supposed to do with all of this stuff??? Do I listen to the tapes first? How about read the book first??? - or do I wait until I am done with the course and then photo read it???? How about the manual that comes along with the books??

I guess I am just wondering where to start. Things will probably work out no matter what I do first, just would like to get some opinions.

There's a lay-out in the manual. Pretty much, start with tape 1 and Paul will walk you through the use of the books, the manual, and so forth.

The Paraliminal tape is pretty much an at-your-discression. Using it before your PhotoReading lesson may be helpful.

I read the book first because that was what was recommended on the sales of the course.

It proved to be very benefical to read the book as it was instructed on the first page. An eye opening learning experience. After that I proceeded with the tapes. Setting aside 40 minutes for each side. I quickly discovered that this was a wise move. It seems none of the LSC courses are just for passive listening. If you want to benefit and fast track the course to success. Listen the first time when you are prepared to follow through on the exercises. You seem to lose something by listening and not doing the exercises... probably because we never get around to it or because we listened to the next tape already decided that we don't need to do them. The experience really does count for something. So personally I suggest if you haven't got time to do the exercises... don't bother listening until you do have. While this may seem to take longer in getting through the course it works out faster for learning the process of the photoreading system.
