I look at the words, I notice the space around the text more than the text (which by the way is blurred which i think is alright) great. But nothing happens. It is correct during and after photoreading you have seem to know very little about what you just photoread.
For novels for enjoyement we usually just photoread the book and then rapid read it (often skipping the activation of superreading and dipping).
I tried visualizing teh tangerine many times but even when i feel cleared of overthing distracting in my mind I still can't seem to do it. Maybe a sign would help other than the blip.
What exactly is it you fel you cannot do? Being relaxed about it is the main idea and a good sign that you are ready to photoread.
Bu that's not my biggest consern. My biggest consern is that nothing is happening. Please help.
Something is always happening. It's a matter of noticing what works. Success breeds success. If you keep looking for what isn't working that's what you'll keep finding. Look for what is working.
You can hold the blip page, say the chant and look at the patterns of the white spaces, turning a page every 1 to 2 seconds = excellent start so lets build from there.
On the other hand, is that basically what photoreading is? First you find key words, then look at the pages oddly, and to finsih off Skim through the texts finding what you were looking for? If that is what photoreading is, no offence photoreaders, but that sucks. That makes photoreading nothing even close to reading.
That is correct photoreading is nothing like reading. It's about getting what you want from a book in the time that you have. That will mean some books we get all the information we want in a matter of minutes and others we might spend a few hours with. For novels many will want to spend more time one than say a text book. We adjust to what we want and need from a book.
More like locating information. Wheres the fun in that.
Heaps of fun. 
If your 'required' reading normally takes you a week to finish and you can get everything you need to know out of a book in 1/3 the time and have the same or in most cases better level of understanding of what the book is about. It gives you more time to enjoy the books you want to read.
Can you photoread a DragonLance novel and understand everything and have enjoyed the book?
Yes, absolutely. Just photoread follow by a rapid read if you want to skip the other activation techniques to savour the book. You'll find your reading goes faster because of the photoreading step.
Please help em. I am very intiuged in photoreading and I want to be able to read fast so I can know more about everything. I've agreed to allow my brain to accept new ways of recieving info, but it don't work.

It does work, you need to give yourself time to experience it. It usually takes a few books.
