When I first started PRing, I found that saying the chant Pete recommends in the book was too distracting and I got mixed up. Looking for some sort of other way to time everythig, I made a beat at 30 bpm (that is, one beat every two seconds). I played this for the first few times while PRing, and it helped quite a bit.

If anyone's interested in using this, I coudl post it somewhere and give you guys a link. The original version was about 74 minutes long, but I'd probably cut it down to a 10' .mp3. I made it long originally so that while I would go through the Preview and Preparation stages, I would be "in rhythm and after I finished, I would have a lot of time while still working at the same rhythm.

I figured that, at first, keeping the beat going while doing other things would be really annoying, but I've found it to be very calming.

If you're interested, let me know and I'll post it somewhere and link to it...
