I´ve been struggling with this problem for a couple of months now, and I´m really sick and tired of it. My problem is when trying to photoread a book, certainly a dictionary, my eyes always begin to focus on individual words. The more I´m struggle with this, the more tension I get and I always put the book aside with frustration, feel completely lost. No problem with the blip itself though and I´ve also tried to turn the book upside down with no result.

Some suggestions? I´m convinced this eventually will work for me. How am I supposed to behave?

If you scroll the pages down fast enough (with PgDown) you get the idea how it feels when you don't see single words. (Don't care about recall or activating or anything else.)
Then, simply apply this new ability on books.

But my question still remains. When photoreading a book I will not be able to go trough the text that fast? Otherwise it becomes more like photo flipping.

It sounds like the single word in the blip page are the start of your problem. It's okay to notice the single words here and there. The idea is to keep going not give up in frustration.

Here's some things you can try to break out of the loop.

1. Say the chant. It serves as a reminder to keep turning the page at a steady pace and to stay in photofocus. Losing photofocus momentarily isn't as bad as losing the pace of the page turning. The pace of page turning quickly brings you back into state.

If it take a few seconds to get the blip page back let that go too and remember to soft focus noticing the pattern of white that the letters make and the 4 outer edges of the book. Just keep the page turning rhythm and allow the blip page to return.

2. Photoread the book upside down from back to front. If words attract your conscious mind you will be able to let go of them faster because they are upside down. It serves as a reminder to your conscious mind it has another job to do. To say the chant.

3. Let it be okay that your conscious mind recognises words here and there. You notice words on the page but you don't pay attention to them. Again occupy your conscious mind with the chant.

The conscious mind wonders thats why saying the chant helps to bring it back. It's ok if it wonders for a momment or so, just as long as you bring it back to the task at hand when photoreading.

Rather than beating yourself up for the fact that you noticed a word or momentarily lost the blip page keep going with it. Go easy on yourself while learning a new skill.
