Hi all, I've been wondering if anyone set up a Photoreading forum - here it was all the time (it needs to be brought to the attention of more people here in the UK - calling Mr LifeTools!)

I was wondering if anyone who has been photoreading for some time now has also taken the Memory Optimizer course? If so what kind of results have you had and is it worth trying.

I've had an interest in memory improvement for some time - using techniques of people like Domonic O'Brien, Harry Lorraine, etc. These systems are great but require a lot of time to really make them of value! Now my interest in PhotoReading has been awakened I feel there must be more up to date methods?

Any thoughts appreciated.

Yes, they are great. In fact, pete has a section in the memory optimizer for photoreaders.

Actually, this is how I got interested in PR'ing--through memory techniques.

I haven't taken the Memory Optimizer course, but I know that there are much better methods of memory [edit: better than Lorrain, etc., not Mem. Optimizer].

There is a big difference between memorizing something and UNDERSTANDING something. I think that understanding is much more important.

If you're interested in these techniquest (more for UNDERSTANDNG) then visit www.winwenger.com and www.geniusbydesign.com
www.winwenger.com has many many useful techniques--enough to overwelm you. I suggest you first learn ImageStreaming (under T & L) then freenoting (also under T & L). The winsights column is also full of insight.

The Memory Optimizer is full of techniques that not only can improve your memory, but are also great activation techniques. Since activation means "getting active" with the information, and the Memory Optimizer is all about keeping your brain active, the two courses are a great complement to each other. Keeping your brain active is a major factor for memory improvement and even decreasing the effects of memory loss as we age.
