Hello,
I have few questions on MindLab Proteus.

Is Mindlab Proteus do what it claims?
Is it worth to buy this device?
How does it help during Potoreading?

Thank you. ^_^

On the whole the proteus is an entertaining entrainment device.

A waste of time to use it with photoreading. Whilest you can use it for getting into AL and saying your opening and closing affirmation during the photoreading stage you need to remove the lightglasses and change the preset to entrainment value of the photoreading stage or remove the headphones as well. Getting tangled in the wires of the lightframes, headphones and proteus while photoreading is distracting during the photoreading stage. I did try it once and calculated that it took more time to set up than it did to get into AL state. Was more distracting than helpful and made no significant difference to the activation.

Also if you set yourself up relying on something like the proteus for photoreading you defeat the purpose of getting to the point of being able to photoread anytime, anywhere.

Really, if you want something that helps you get into AL state, a nature sound CD that you enjoy is enough, slow relaxing music (no vocals) and baroque music are easier to have playing in the background than, setting up and getting yourself tangled in the proteus. Played low enough so that you can ignore it during photoreading.
