Dear PhotoReaders,

Finally I received the ordered PR book and also already began to read therein.

I'm not comming very far yet and have already to the 1st step a question.

Like written in the book (p46 => german edition), I took a little bit of time to prepare the purpose by stating it clearly. then I get into an ideal state of mind for reading from section to section (1st exercise for beginner. For which I use the tangering technique.

I can fix the point over my head very quick and well. My physical condition get relaxed very fast, my mind feels very light and fresh. But I can stay in this state just for 5-10minutes while I'm reading. After this short time, I can't concentrate and read attentively section for section like it is written in the book.

Because after this time, I get tired and can neither concentrate myself to the book nor can I see the words or letters in the book. My eyes fall asleep, when I don't do any physical activity. I mean then I need to go to sleep.

This same expirience I got also with the self-study video. At that time I thought because I do not know the real background from PR and so I bought the book in addition.

Is there someone of you out there know where the problem lies and could help me?

Thanks
moon

PS:I do belive in PR for more then 100%

Hmmm, sounds like you're getting TOO relaxed. How much physical activity do you need? Would chewing gum be enough, or do you have to walk around?

Give yourself time. You need to take regular breaks anyway. If you're having trouble with the tangerine check your posture. Sit upright at a desk and remember to breathe, also stick to the time frames and activation periods. If you say 30 minutes the stop at 30 minutes. This way your body gets used to the fact that you will be finished when you say you will be finish and not have to switch off to make sure that you do.

Also drink plenty of water, chewing gum will also help, this helps to get oxygen to the brain. Lack of oxygen is one of the reasons we tend to fall asleep.
