Forums IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ PhotoReading, Memory Optimizer Physics and Photoreading Help

I am currently taking a very difficult physics class in college and I thought it might be helpful to try to utilize PRing in a way that it might help raise my grades. I cant say i am doing well in the class right now, but im hoping someone has used the PRing method in a physics type class which has helped him/her gain an advantage on the material. I read the PRWMS book over the summer and tried to use the methods on different books. I havent actually got it to work with this type of material though. I would like to know if someone who is an expert or with any experience could help me. I am sure PR would help me learn the material better, i just haven't been able to do it. Physics is hard and i know there is no easy way around it. I would appreciate any insight you could give me. Thanks for your help.

One way to get a better grasp on any subject is to get as many books about the subject and photoread them. Just a light preview 2 3 minutes at the most. Photoread and perhaps a 10 to 15 minute postview. If any book draws your attention give it a bit of activation time. Then focus on your class textbooks. Treat each chapter as a book in itself. Take as much time as you feel you need to activate the book give yourself the understanding that since you're having trouble with the subject activation may take a tad longer. (still a Lot less than with regular reading )

You can also preview and PR past questions and the discussion questions (at the back of the chapter in most physics texts). Having an idea of what you'll need to do with your knowledge gives you an idea of what knowledge you need in the first place.

hey thanks a lot for the fast response. It seem that when i read a chapter of the textbook then try to do the homework problems i am clueless to what i should have gained from reading, i guess this happens to a lot of people. i will give what you said a try and hope it will help me with learning the material a new way.
