Hi am currently working through the prwms and an interesting idea occurred to me to make learning pr faster, say you work through the course as normal but at night listen to the cds on repeat (kind of like sleeplearning) while falling asleep and all night long would that help in making the material more familiar hence much more easier to learn i have heard of people on this forum talking of playing paraliminals over and over again while sleeping, why not the prwms cds, i remember reading the book superlearning by sheila ostrander and in it she states that someone learnt chinese by sleep learning, could the same process be used to learn prwms, i.e sleeplearning followed by actually using the skill? what do you guys think possible????????????

I suggest the best way to learn the system, well at least what I did was to go throuhg the system 2-3 times. I Pred about 5-10 books fully, I mean all of the steps. The other thing I found really usefull was photoreading the PRWMS 5-10 times a day for a week or two. If you try to listen to the course while sleeping I think there will be minimal benefit compared to acually doing it. Since you have the course PR the PRWMS and the NB books 5 times a day for like three weeks. I did this for a while and I had a lot of spontaneous activation when using the system and reading the forum

Good Luck.

Fritz

PS Remember NOPS play make it game.

thanks mate was looking to do what your saying as well as listening to tapes atnight,(dont think made myself clear)as have been doing research into hypnopedia (sleep learning), my premise is that sleep learning will help me absorb the material into my other than conscious mind and then doing the exercises as well will make the whole process a lot faster and cos i have it in my mind already and hence it makes the material more easier to learn like paul said on one of the tapes how can you read something you dont know (or words to that affect) what i didn't understand was why pr the prwms book so amny times by the way you said you photoread the Nb book several times did it help you apply the Nb model cos what you where doing was Direct Learning was it not??? anyway mate will take you suggestions on board but like you said NOPS!!!!!

Just a suggetion, but, if you have the paraliminals: Personal Genius and Memory Supercharger you might would want to listen for 21 days like:

Personal Genius-->PhotoReading Book-->Memory Supercharger.

But I just wonder listening to tapes at night would great affect the quality of sleeping. Some experts even tell us not to listen to relaxing music when sleeping.

I thought I did it the easy way, Just worked through the course once. From there it wase merely applying it that made it get better and better.

It seems the more you buy into the idea that it's difficult to learn the more you feel you have to work at it and the harder you look for short cuts.

Have fun with it, do the exercises in the course as they come up and just use the Personal Genius Paraliminal. Tell yourself that you want to learn the course in the shortest possible time and by my calculations would be once through the course. Having done that you've learnt it. From there you just use it to become proficient at it.

Alex

thanks alex as always your words hold the truth, i have kind of blown the whole thing out of proportion, so going to go back to basics and work thru course while listening to paraliminals, was thinking of combining get round to it (as i seem to be procrastinating very badly) and memory supercharger so its GET ROUND TO IT THEN PR THEN MEMORY SUPERCHARGER, i think my problem is i have been reading the forum for a while so listening to everyone going on about did the course several times etc, has just make me think hold on this is more complicated then it looks, when it fact like you said just go thru the course and then apply, what do you think of the choice pf paraliminals

Your method with the paraliminals is workable. It's a lot easier than you think.

The potentials sleep learning has to offer is a common urban legend. I actually tested it out myself; not only did I not retain much from the material I "sleep learned" but the quality of my sleep was significantly disrupted.
