When I began to to learn PR,I told my classmates that I would read a book 10 times faster than them, and I would study much easier and better than myself .But many months have gone٬I don't reach this.I have asked a lot of questions,I do what all of suggested me to do.I don't the reason. I really believe in pr, but it havsn't take me any benefit. All of you have successful experiences? How do you learn pr? Any new suggestions for me? I know when active sonething, I must have questions.

Hey, Learner from China

I cannot say if we have the same degree of this problem, but I definitely experience this on a mild basis. I told some friends about this PRWMS, and some laugh it off, and some respect it. I'm glad that I was kind enough to at least introduce this useful reading concept selflessly. I did this rather than continuously keep it to myself, and I feel good about that.

Please, you don't have to pressure yourself too much to an extent of unnecessarily ruined performance. Paul says to not worry about results, and be like a baby, pah-lay (play) with it! Keep trusting the system. I have small successes each time I use the system, but I stay optimistic in order to see what's right with things, not what's wrong. Life is too precious

No purpose no trigger words no mind probe no questions for trigger words = no results. You must have a purpose & be very clear what you want from the book. If you do not have a purpose & do not know what you are trying to get from the book it will not work. What is it that you are trying to get from the book? What are you trying to learn from the book? You need to tell your mind what key words from the book you are looking for and what questions you have for those key words. Otherwise how is your mind going to know? Your mind will not know unless you tell your mind what it is that you want from the book. Photoreading will not let me repeat will not work without a purpose. photoread4me.

Yes! Of course, purpose is a foundation for PhotoReading. You must do whatever you can to let yourself know you're looking for something. (asking questions, trigger words, following train of thought, etc) You can even start by analyzing what you do everyday, and ask why you do those things...then you can really get on those "train tracks" and have a destination.

Learner'.

Is the only reason you wanted to learn photoreading to be able to show off amongst your friends? Why did you even tell them about it?

Unfortunately you've made it hard for yourself because of your friends negative input. It seems they have created doubts in your mind.

Firstly remember the 5 steps of PhotoReading. As a learner don't skim on them.

1. Prepare. Get ready state your purpose.
2. Preview. Does the book meet your purpose do you really need to read it? If no Dump it. If yes step 3.
3. PhotoRead. Do a short postview and pull out trigger words now if you had a very short preview, about 8 minutes then let it incubate. Overnight if you can or at least 20 minutes.
4. Activate 20 to 30 minutes (rest review mind probe and repeat activation) Till you're done.
5. Rapid Read (optional) usually for pleasure reading.

If you do those steps you should be getting your reading done in 1/3 the time.

Photoreading helps you to get your reading done in the time that you have available and its up to you to make sure you know what your purpose is so that you can get the information you need in that time.

Alex

Learner, just use the system as described in the course. The three things I think people glaze over is the smiling (having fun while doing it), relax (noticing any signs of tension while using the systems and responding appropriately), and believing in yourself (I don't mean thinking it can work, but knowing it can work).

The very first book I tried the system on I finished in about 1/10 the time I would normally have taken. My comprehension was probably 60% - 70% instead of my normal 90%-100%, but for this book that was enough to satisfy me, or else I would have activated some more.

When I read the first book, I didn't get everything in the system correct. Heck, my activation passes are still not the way the system say they should be. Your brain is just a good as mine, or AlexK's, or Pete's or Paul's. So getting results from the system is possible for you.

I would suggest going through the course material again. It's amazing how some of those little insignificant statements suddenly become more important. It all has to do with perspective. Each time you go through the course your knowledge, understanding, problems are slightly different and so the importance of the material seems different. I've completely gone through the course three times, and some sections many more. Not to mention the thousands of thread I've read on the forums.

NOPS the system and you will get results.

You are perfection.
