I noticed I needed to blink a lot today
while PRing because my eyes are (I am) tired.
Ordinarily, I tend to blink less or even
stare.

Is either blinking or staring a
problem?

Blinking no.

Staring yes. Tends to make PhotoReading more of a strain, can cause headaches.

For both drink water, relax and go with the flow.

If you are tired I do suggest that rather than a marathon session with 3 or more books pick one you'd really like to get some information from and have a nap after PhotoReading it.

Often during naps we dream more readily and are more aware of our dreams, you might notice some information about the book coming into your dreams. Even if you cannot exactly remember what it was your dream told you it's great verification that your mind is 'working on it' and hey you only PhotoRead it.

Relax and blink away! We are all made for this stuff to work perfectly.

As we should avoid consciously reading or attending the text while PRing, I tried playing with it by using my eyes as a camera shutter, opening them briefly every time I turn over a page (without straining). That way I get only a snapshot of the page and can keep my concentration (and a mental negative of the page, just like that annoying spot you see after looking at the sun). I also noticed I'm more concentrated on the kinesthetic aspect (the page turning) rather than the visual (meaning, less distractions, as I tend to be more of a visual rather than kinesthetic person).

Can anyone feeling they've already mastered PR try this method and report results?
please, play with it.

Thanks,
Gil

During PhotoReading I sometimes notice a word on the page, but generally nothing stands out owing to the merging of lines and letters, and to the relative blurriness.
