I have only been able to successfully use photo-reading with self-improvement, history books, and social science books.
I have a degree in Electrical Engineering and tried to apply photo-reading to learn technical information but was unsuccessfull.

Now I'm going to take the Patent Bar which is test based on laws for applying for patents. I'm not sure what to do, I wasn't able to get photo-reading to work for me when I took the LSAT exam which was a multiple choice exam, I did quite poorly on that test. The Patent Bar is a 100 question multiple choice test for 6 hours.

I purchased a study guide which has a 700 page summary of the 2000 chapter rule book. I'll need to get 100% comprehension because you have to be able to take what is written and think of all of the exceptions that come up and understand how to apply the rules and laws work together.

If anyone has any suggestions on multiple choice tests or for studying technical type material that requires a high comprehension rate let me know.

Multiple exposure. Whether PhotoReading or not you're going to need to go through the information often.

What you describe is analylitical thinking. You'll want to build it section by section.

Tip.. If in doubt in a multiple choices test... the shortest answer is usually wrong... examiners are human and rarely are bothered to think up long false answers.
