i want to write for TV, specific shows, my idea is to P.R several scripts from one particular show to find out what it is that makes the show funny what makes people laugh and what elements, i.e characters place settings language must i have to make the producer think yes this is what i have been looking for. can i do this with P.R if so where do i start, any tips or ideas will be most welcome thanks

Variety... don't just look at one show look at a variety as in a syntopic reading.

Syntopic reading is explained in chapter 11 of the PhotoReading book 3rd edition.
